UniCredit fees per payment method: the prices UniCredit publishes
Every price UniCredit publishes for merchants established in Europe, in one table: per payment method, country of establishment and channel, with the date each price was read. Choose your country and channel, and the table also shows the methods UniCredit offers without a published price. A published rate is a list rate: what you actually pay is set in your quoted rate and your contract.
Retail Payment Methods Transparency Index
UniCredit fees by country and channel
UniCredit stands in the index with 20 payment methods for merchants established in Europe, and publishes a price for 11 of them.
Each rate is shown as UniCredit prints it; the method name links to the page about that method and the date links to the page the rate was read on. A published rate is a list rate: what a merchant actually pays is stated in the quoted rate and the contract.

Questions about UniCredit fees
What does UniCredit charge for card payments?
UniCredit publishes for card payments (Italy, in-store): Visa: Consumer cards issued by the bank: Debit/Prepaid: 3.55% (MIF 0.20%, Scheme 0.09%); Credit: 3.65% (MIF 0.30%, Scheme 0.09%); consumer cards issued by other banks: Debit/Prepaid: 3.80% (MIF 0.20%, Scheme 0.11%); Credit: 4.50% (MIF 0.30%, Scheme 0.11%); commercial cards issued by the bank: Debit/Prepaid: 3.55%; Credit: 3.75%; EU commercial and non-EU cards issued by other banks: Debit/Prepaid: 3.80%; Credit: 4.50%; MIF++ option: variable mark-up 3.20% or fixed mark-up €2.50; €0.10 per collection transaction; reversal €1.00; discount 0.05% on transactions of €30 or less; discount 0.05% above €100,000.00 transacted volume per calendar year per point of sale; Mastercard: Consumer cards issued by the bank: Debit/Prepaid: 3.55% (MIF 0.20%, Scheme 0.11%); Credit: 3.65% (MIF 0.30%, Scheme 0.11%); consumer cards issued by other banks: Debit/Prepaid: 4.50% (MIF 0.20%, Scheme 0.18%); Credit: 4.50% (MIF 0.30%, Scheme 0.18%); commercial cards issued by the bank: Debit/Prepaid: 3.55%; Credit: 3.75%; EU commercial and non-EU cards issued by other banks: Debit/Prepaid/Credit: 4.50%; MIF++ option: variable mark-up 3.20% or fixed mark-up €2.50; €0.10 per collection transaction; reversal €1.00; discount 0.05% on transactions of €30 or less; discount 0.05% above €100,000.00 transacted volume per calendar year per point of sale. That is the published rate; what a merchant pays is set in the quoted rate.
For which payment methods does UniCredit publish no price?
UniCredit offers these payment methods without a published price (Italy, in-store): Alipay, Diners Club.
Your rate
A published rate is the starting point, not the outcome
For a merchant with volume the published list is where the negotiation starts. The quoted rate decides what reaches your statement: the percentage and the fixed fee per transaction, the surcharges for international cards and currency conversion, how the rate is built for each payment method, and the terms on payouts, chargebacks and refunds. Two merchants with the same payment mix can be on the same list and pay different amounts.
EcomStream reviews a contract with UniCredit on merchant mandate against what the market quotes for comparable volume and payment mix, and renegotiates it, without a change of provider, on a no cure no pay basis. Start with cutting your PSP costs, or run the payment set-up check on your own figures first.
