Oilily is an international fashion and lifestyle brand, known for playful, richly detailed designs across women’s, girls’ and boys’ collections, as well as bags, accessories and bedding. The brand sells worldwide, which means its online payment setup spans many markets and a wide mix of payment methods.

The challenge

A brand selling internationally online accepts a broad range of payment methods, each with its own rate and fee structure. Oilily’s PSP contract had not been renegotiated against the current market, which meant it was paying more than necessary across nearly all of those methods, with the excess landing straight on operational cost.

The approach

EcomStream renegotiated Oilily’s contract with its payment provider, securing improved rates and fees across almost every payment method rather than just the headline card rate. Targeted, method-by-method adjustments are where the real savings sit, and they only surface when someone goes through the contract line by line against what the market actually offers.

The outcome

Oilily came out with materially better payment terms and lower operating cost, turning its payment processes from an overlooked expense into a genuine financial asset. The improved setup supports profitability today and gives the brand a stronger, more competitive base to grow from.
