Audax<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Audax, opgericht in 1958, is een prominente speler in retail, publishing en commerci\u00eble distributie, actief via divisies als Audax Retail, Audax Publishing, Van Ditmar en Betapress. Audax Retail omvat bekende merken als Bruna en ReadShop, en bedient meer dan 500 eigen en franchisewinkels naast ruim 4.000 andere retailers, van Bruna en ReadShop tot verkooppunten op Schiphol, treinstations en de boekenafdelingen van de Bijenkorf. <\/p>\n

De uitdaging<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Audax had een point-of-sale betaalcontract nodig dat tegelijk voor twee verschillende doelgroepen werkte: de eigen Bruna-filialen en de zelfstandige franchisenemers. Dat is een structureel lastiger vraagstuk dan een onderhandeling voor \u00e9\u00e9n merchant, omdat de volumes, belangen en prioriteiten van franchisenemers en eigen winkels niet vanzelf op \u00e9\u00e9n lijn liggen, en een deal voor alle partijen gunstig moet zijn om de moeite waard te zijn. <\/p>\n

De aanpak<\/strong><\/h2>\n

EcomStream begeleidde Audax door de volledige evaluatie: het wegen van voorstellen van payment providers en banken, het beoordelen van de verschillende dealstructuren die op tafel lagen, en het doornemen van de voorwaarden achter elk. Het doel was \u00e9\u00e9n regeling die standhield over zowel de eigen filialen als het franchisenetwerk. <\/p>\n

Een centraal onderdeel van het werk was educatie. EcomStream gaf de stakeholders van Audax een helder beeld van het Nederlandse betaallandschap en hoe het werkelijk werkt, zodat de beslissingen met echt begrip werden genomen in plaats van op gezag van een provider. <\/p>\n

Het resultaat<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Audax sloot een gunstig point-of-sale betaalcontract af dat zowel de Bruna-filialen als de franchisenemers dekt, met stakeholders die de markt goed genoeg begrepen om met vertrouwen door te pakken. Een complexe onderhandeling met meerdere partijen eindigde in een regeling die werkte voor iedereen. <\/p>\n
