Das Unternehmen betreibt eigene Gesellschaften in 10 L\u00e4ndern, deckt \u00fcber seine Global Alliance Partners 38 L\u00e4nder in EMEA ab und bietet L\u00f6sungen in 54 L\u00e4ndern weltweit.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Die Aufgabe<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Staples wollte eine neue paneurop\u00e4ische Zahlungsl\u00f6sung einf\u00fchren, als entscheidenden Teil einer breiteren digitalen Transformation und eng verbunden mit dem Replatforming der E-Commerce-Plattform. Ziel war es, den Zahlungsbetrieb \u00fcber mehrere europ\u00e4ische M\u00e4rkte zugleich zu modernisieren und zu straffen, mit einem nahtlosen Checkout-Erlebnis vorn und einer belastbaren finanziellen Anbindung hinten. Ein Projekt dieses Umfangs verlangt erfahrene Payment-Kapazit\u00e4t im Team und nicht Beratung von der Seitenlinie.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Das Vorgehen<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Dies war ein Umsetzungsmandat. EcomStream stellte praktische, erfahrene Payment-Kapazit\u00e4t innerhalb eines internationalen, multidisziplin\u00e4ren Teams aus Product Ownern, Softwareentwicklern, UX-Designern, IT-Architekten und Risikomanagern und begleitete den Rollout des neuen Zahlungsdienstleisters von Anfang bis Ende, von der Frontend-Anbindung an die E-Commerce-Plattform bis zur Backend-Verbindung mit Finanz- und Abstimmungssystemen.<\/p>\n<p>Der Wert lag in \u00dcbersetzung und Koordination. EcomStream definierte die Anbindungsanforderungen, stellte sicher, dass die L\u00f6sung ordentlich getestet und mit dem Replatforming abgestimmt war, und wirkte als Br\u00fccke zwischen Gesch\u00e4ft und Technik, indem gesch\u00e4ftliche Anforderungen in technische Vorgaben \u00fcbersetzt wurden, gegen die Architekten und Entwickler bauen konnten. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit galt Risikomanagement und Compliance, damit die L\u00f6sung europ\u00e4ische Regulierungsstandards und die internen Sicherheitsvorgaben von Staples erf\u00fcllt.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Das Ergebnis<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Staples ging mit einer schlanken, skalierbaren und zukunftsfesten paneurop\u00e4ischen Zahlungsl\u00f6sung heraus, vollst\u00e4ndig in die Finanzsysteme eingebunden und auf die E-Commerce-Plattform abgestimmt. Das Set-up tr\u00e4gt mehrere Zahlungsarten \u00fcber L\u00e4nder hinweg, liefert fortgeschrittenes Reporting und Abstimmung und gibt dem Unternehmen bessere finanzielle Transparenz und die Flexibilit\u00e4t zu skalieren. Es steht als klares Beispiel daf\u00fcr, wie erfahrene Payment-Kapazit\u00e4t innerhalb eines bereichs\u00fcbergreifenden Teams eine erfolgreiche digitale Transformation tr\u00e4gt.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201eDas E-Commerce-Team von Staples, f\u00fcr das ich verantwortlich war, hat Ramon Helwegen 2020 und 2021 f\u00fcr die Vertragsgestaltung und den Aufbau einer Zahlungsl\u00f6sung auf Basis von Adyen f\u00fcr das europ\u00e4ische Gesch\u00e4ft von Staples hinzugezogen.
